She initiate and build local and public participation with enthusiasm and commitment. During the year she worked with a lot of rural communities on participatory type local strategic planning. She support the NGO’s professional development. Initiate and sustain different collaborations and networks at local, regional and international level too.
Christopher (Chris) Wormansenior adviser
Chris has played an active role in the Romanian community foundation movement, starting Romania’s first community foundation in 2007 and helping build a national framework to encourage others. While the Foundation has rapidly grown into a leading actor in exploring the space for local philanthropy, with an annual budget of more than $250,000 and 5 staff, Chris keeps time for training through his Local Philanthropy Workshop and blog. In addition to work with the Foundation, Chris brought TechSoup Global into Romania in 2009. Nearly $5 million in support to civil society has since been delivered through this social enterprise and the organization continues to grow in all things related to civil society and IT&C. Randomly enough, Chris is also enjoys rural development (because it gets him out to the villages) and one of his favorite projects is a biogas social enterprise developed in 2008… He keeps busy.
As PR Manager her main responsabilities include improving the awareness of the general society of our work as well as providing a continuous link between the Foundation and the local population. In the same time she has two individual programmes running: Kaláka Campaign and the yearly Community Gala. The campaign and the Gala provide the funding for our ongoing Urban Kalaka programme, aiming to improve the community areas of our town with the help of the local population and small contributors.
Attila Pétertendering and program-manager
He has worked for almost ten years in the business sector as a middle executive, getting familiar with finances, accountancy, public relation and processing data. His experience, accuracy and skill of paying attention to details help the Foundation in grantmaking and community programs, his knowledge in financial management.
Melánia Kilyényouth program-coordinator
Melania supports the work of the foundation through the coordination of the YouthBankprogram, mentoring volunteers with many years of experience in fundraising. She helps young volunteers to develop and implement fundraising ideas and to support community initiatives of youth.
Mihály Ágnescoordinator of the YouthBank
Being the coordinator of the YouthBank her goal is to create a team, which members’ trough their fundraising ideas and being actively involved in the grantmaking part of the program can improve their communication and organization skills, their creativity and their ability to work in a team and take part in the community’s life. In her opinion working and thinking together are indispensable in these days. Youngsters being volunteers in the YouthBank program can experience exactly these things.
Bernadette Andráscommunication responsible
As a communication responsible her primarily goals are to keep on agenda the Odorhei’s community with activities of Foundation, to develop and maintain an interactive relationship between the community and the Foundation, furthermore to make visible and transparent the Foundation’s activity. Her conviction is, that the right and satisfying communication is very important in order to the Foundation reach its goal and continue work in favor of community.
